YOU ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT ASSET YOU HAVE!

Before becoming a full-time creator, as you know, I was an art director, teamleader and supervisor and before that a CGI freelancer. My team and I experienced a lot - and I mean a LOT - of stress throughout our days. We humans are not made to endure stress all the time. Eventually we will break down. But if YOU break down, what was all the stress and hard work good for?
So I began to do practice at least one thing in the morning with all 10 team members together...

60 seconds mindfulness practice |

We gathered right at the start of our work time, sat together and I lead a short practice that goes as easy as this:
- Close your eyes
- Feel the seat you are sitting on
- Listen to the sounds around you
- Take three deep slow breaths, filling your lungs
- Breathe normally for 60 seconds
- Concentrate on the air flow and nothing else

Take some time for you today!
By doing this little exercise and reminding oneself of ones inner calmness, we can find our center again and be more calm in stressful situations.
There are endless variations to this practice and I recommend repeating it a few times a day. It's just 60 seconds but it can help you so much. Do it before sending something to a client and having to check everything. Do it after something stressful happened. Do it just for the sake of spending time with yourself.
